This domain has hosted the same piece of advice since the early 2000s: read the fking manual.** Back then it was a single page pointing out that most computer problems are solved by opening the instruction booklet you threw away with the box. Roughly eight problems out of ten, the original page claimed. It was right.

In 2026 we turned the joke into something useful. Every guide here starts from the official documentation, then gets tested on real hardware. No word-count filler, no "I too struggled with this issue" preambles. Just the steps, in order, that make the problem go away.

If a fix stops working after a firmware update, we update the page. That is the whole model.

How we work

  • We start from the manufacturer's own documentation, then verify each step ourselves.
  • Steps are ordered by how often they are the actual fix, not by how impressive they sound.
  • Some pages contain sponsored or affiliate links. They are always labeled, and they never change what we recommend.

Questions, corrections, or a fix that did not work? Contact us. But check the manual first. You know the rule.
